Cajun Shrimp and Asparagus

This makes for a quick, low-calorie lunch or dinner and it only takes a little over 2 minutes using the Lekue Steam Case!



10 peeled and deveined shrimp

10 baby asparagus, ends removed

½ lemon

1 1/2 tsp. Taste of Cajun by Gustus Vitae Condiments

OR make your own below

1 pinch ground pepper

1 pinch cayenne pepper

1 pinch oregano

1 pinch garlic powder

1 pinch salt

1 pinch onion powder


Open the Lekue 1-2 person Steam Case and lay the asparagus on the tray.

Place the shrimp on top of the asparagus and squeeze the lemon juice over all of the shrimp.

Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the shrimp or in a small bowl, mix the spices and sprinkle on top of each shrimp.

Close the lids and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes and 10 seconds. Leave the steam case in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to let the shrimp continue to steam.

Remove from the microwave and enjoy.
