Ingredients (makes 5)

½ bell pepper, diced

¼ sweet onion, diced

1 clove fresh garlic

1 green onion, chopped

8 oz. (1/2 lb.) ground turkey

1 tsp. ground ginger

3 tbsp. low sodium soy sauce

1 tbsp. duck sauce

1 tbsp. hoisin sauce

½ tsp chili paste

5 leaves of Bibb lettuce (butter lettuce)

1 carrot

Crunchy Chow Mein Noodles (if desired)

Put the diced bell pepper in the Lekue Large Steam Case with 1 tsp. of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt. Cook for 2 minutes in the microwave.

Open the lids and to the Steam Case add the both types and onion. Using the Rosle Garlic Press, mince the garlic and add it to the Steam Case. Close the lids and cook for 3 minutes.

Once the vegetables are steamed, put the ground turkey in with the vegetables. Season the turkey with the ground ginger, ½ tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Close the lids and cook for 3 minutes in the microwave.

While the turkey is cooking whisk together the soy sauce, duck sauce, hoisin, and chili paste. When the turkey is finished cooking, use a spatula or spoon to break the meat apart and then add the sauce. Mix together and put back in the microwave for 1 minute just to warm the sauce through.

Get your lettuce cups and fill each piece of lettuce with the turkey mixture.

Peel the carrot and using your Rosle Julienne Peeler, make little strips of carrot. Cut in half and place on top of each lettuce cup. The crispness of the fresh carrot will brighten all of the flavors. Lastly, sprinkle with the Chow Mein Noodles.
