Rigatoni Pie

Pasta is good no matter what, but this is a fun way to transform the ordinary into extraordinary!

Ingredients

1 lb. rigatoni

Pasta sauce

½ tbsp. dried basil

½ tbsp. dried oregano

1 tsp. dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Mozzarella Cheese

Procedure

Preheat your oven to 400F.

Cook the pasta according to package instructions.

While the pasta is cooking, mix together the pasta sauce, basil, oregano, thyme, and salt and pepper.

Drain the pasta and assemble the Lekue 7” Duo Silicone Spring form.

Take a piece of the rigatoni and stand upright in the spring form. Continue until the entire pan is covered and tightly packed.

Spoon sauce over the top of the rigatoni and then cover with mozzarella.

Cover with foil and back in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.

Take out of the oven and let cool for 15 minutes before removing the sides of the spring form.

Slice like a cake and serve.
