Grown Up Almost Instant Noodles

One would never think of the Duralex Lys Square Bowls with Lids to be a cooking vessel. This recipe proves that it can be used for more than just storage. Making soup with fresh ingredients has never been easier. It’s also a great option for weekday lunches or a quick dinner.



¼ sweet onion, finely sliced

1 ¼ cup cooked, shredded chicken

½ tbsp. chicken salt

2 chicken cubes, crushed

1 sheet Chow Mein noodles

1 tbsp. fresh dill

Pinch of pepper

2 ½ cups boiling water



Start layering the ingredients in your Duralex Square Bowl with Lid. First the thinly sliced onion, then shredded chicken, chicken salt and crushed chicken cubes, noodles, dill and pinch of pepper.

When you are ready to eat, pour 2 ½ cups of boiling water into the Duralex container. Make sure all of the noodles are submerged in the water. Seal with the lid and let sit for 3-4 minutes.

Remove the lid and enjoy!
