Celebrate the French Revolution and Bastille Day on July 14 with a French Garden Party with some simple French alfresco foods: a French baguette, a fresh green salad, and shrimp on the barbecue. Make the meal authentic with a pot of beans and vegetables simmered slow on the grill in an Emile Henry Flame-Top pot.
Bastille Day is the French national holiday that commemorates the beginning of the French Revolution and the storming of the Bastille. Celebrated in France in much the same way that Americans celebrate Independence Day on July 4th.
Flame-Top cookware is made of a flameproof ceramic. It is designed to go directly on a heat source; gas flame, an electric or halogen stove, even a barbecue grill. Flame-Top cookware is much lighter, 30%, than comparable metal cookware and yet it is a heavy duty, durable workhorse. It is microwave and dishwasher-safe where metal cookware is not. Its’ surface cleans up easily and it is so durable that a cook can cut directly in the cookware – even with an electric knife without fear of scratching, chipping or cracking the surface. Flame-Top goes under the broiler and directly from a freezer or refrigerator into a hot oven.
Take summer entertaining by storm with this French cookware. To find out more about Flame-Top watch our Flame-Top Cookware video with Jacques Henry, President of Emile Henry.
