Emile Henry celebrates Bastille Day which is France’s biggest national holiday that commemorates the beginning of the French Revolution with an homage to our favorite French bakeware – Emile Henry. Bastille Day is the French national holiday, celebrated on 14th of July each year. It commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison in 1789, an open act of rebellion against the monarchy that is considered a turning point of the French Revolution. Two days after the storming of the Bastille, the king officially recognized the tricolor flag–the blue, white and red said to symbolize liberty, equality and brotherhood. Use Emile Henry azure (blue), blanc (white), and cerise (red) dishes and bakeware for your celebration. Mix and match to make the perfect red, white and blue combination!
